Iedereen kent het begrip 'leren leren', maar wat houdt leren leren in het secundair onderwijs precies in? Tijdens onze bijles ‘leren leren’ sturen we jou in je leerproces en reiken we je de basis aan om beter te studeren. Heb jij altijd veel stress tijdens de examenperiodes? Stel jij je huiswerk uit tot op het laatste moment? Zou een goede studieplanning welkom zijn, maar weet je zelf niet hoe je daaraan moet beginnen? Wat houden bijlessen ‘leren leren’ in?
Tijdens de bijlessen ‘leren leren’ leren we jou hoe je efficiënt en doelgericht kan studeren. Dit doen we door jouw studiemethode vanuit verschillende invalshoeken te benaderen en tips te geven om beter te studeren.
Studeerproces: We delen het studeerproces op in vijf grote fasen: oriënteren, begrijpen, toepassen, memoriseren en herhalen. Het klinkt ook vrij logisch dat je de leerstof eerst moet begrijpen alvorens je oefeningen kan maken. Tijdens de bijlessen leren leren verduidelijken we eerst de vijf fasen en geven we vervolgens tips over hoe je jouw studiemethode het best aanpast naargelang de fase.
Studietechnieken: Er bestaan ontzettend veel verschillende methoden om leerstof te verwerken: samenvatten, onderlijnen of fluoresceren, schematiseren, mindmapping,… Welke studietechniek je gebruikt, is afhankelijk van het vak. Je studeert Frans namelijk niet op dezelfde manier als geschiedenis of wiskunde. Tijdens de bijlessen leren studeren bekijken we per vak welke studietechniek voor jou het beste werkt.
Studieomgeving: Waar je studeert, is even belangrijk dan hoe je studeert in het secundair onderwijs! Studeren in een rustige en ordelijke studieomgeving werkt motiverend en bevordert je concentratie! Maar hoe ziet zo’n studieomgeving er precies uit? Wat doe je met jouw laptop en smartphone tijdens het studeren? Studeer je het best zonder of met muziek? Het zijn vragen die onze begeleiders stuk voor stuk beantwoorden tijdens de bijlessen leren leren.
Studieplanning: Wat ben je met een goede studiemethode en de ideale studieomgeving als je te laat begint met studeren? Een realistische studieplanning is cruciaal voor goede (examen)resultaten. Het klinkt misschien vreemd, maar vaak zorgt een goede studieplanning ervoor dat je minder zal moeten studeren. Hoe dat komt, wordt op de bijlessen leren leren uitgebreid uitgelegd. Tijdens de bijlessen leren studeren geven onze begeleiders ondermeer een antwoord op volgende vragen:
Wanneer moet ik beginnen te studeren?
Hoe lang studeer ik aan één stuk?
Met welk vak moet ik beginnen studeren?
Wat als ik minder gestudeerd heb dan er op mijn planning staat?
Wanneer is de bijles leren leren een succes?
Uiteraard is het doel van de bijlessen leren studeren om jou beterestudieresultaten te laten halen! Toch is dit niet het enige doel van de bijles! We vinden het namelijk even belangrijk dat jij een goede studiemethode hebt gevonden waarmee jij in de toekomst zelfstandig goede studieresultaten kan behalen. We hechten daarom veel belang aan doelgerichtstuderen en een goede balans tussen studeren en ontspannen. Bijlessen leren leren zorgen er dus niet persé voor dat je meer zal moeten studeren!.
Wanneer volg je het best bijles leren leren?
Hoe vroeger je de bijles leren leren volgt, hoe meer voordeel je er zal uithalen! Je volgt de bijlessen dus het best in de eerste graad of tweede graad van het secundair onderwijs zodat je meteen alle tips om beter te studeren kan toepassen. Uiteraard kan je ook in de derde graad van het secundair onderwijs de bijlessen volgen! De bijlessen leren leren wordt aangepast naargelang jouw studierichting en studieproblemen! Om het meeste resultaat te halen uit de bijles leren leren is het belangrijk om hiermee te starten bij aanvang van het semester. Het is namelijk onmogelijk voor studiebegeleiders om jouw ‘ideale’ studiemethode op één week tijd te vinden en toe te passen.
Wie geeft de bijlessen leren leren in het secundair?
De bijlessen leren leren in het secundair onderwijs wordt gegeven door ervaren bachelor- en masterstudenten van de universiteit of hogeschool! Zij worden zorgvuldig gescreend op basis van hun studieresultaten en didactische vaardigheden en worden steeds door ons opgeleid. Zij beheersen elk aspect van de bijlessen en omdat de bijlesgevers zelf nog studeren kunnen ze hun eigen ervaringen delen. Zo garanderen we een kwalitatieve bijles leren leren!
